It was a night full of surprises.
And it couldn't have been much better. Originally only scheduled for
2 hours, Paul Van Dyk decided to extend his set after his soundcheck
on Saturday afternoon. From two hours, to an incredible 3 and a half
hours. Though only presale ticket holders were allowed priority entrance
before midnight, the Vision Sky was already crowded. Once general admission
sales begun, Vision saw one of its largest crowds ever. On this night,
it didn't matter who you were, how you dressed, or where you were from.
The crowd was one and came to celebrate the music of Paul Van Dyk.
Big breaks. Build-ups. Visuals. Fog. These are things you don't need when Sander Kleinenberg hits the decks. Last Friday, for three and a half hours, Sander had Sound-Bar moving. The music alone set the atmosphere. It wasn't uncommon to find someone from out-of-town who came solo just to hear Sander. And Sander didn't disappoint.pictures
